A research by an American doctor has found that teenagers sending over 120 messages a day are more likely to drink, smoke and have other bad habits. About 4000 high school students, aged 13 to 18, were surveyed, 20% of whom were classified as hyper-texters. The research results suggest that texting is having dangerous health effect on teenagers, and that parents should help their children by discouraging excessive use of the cell phone.
