　　Smoking is an especially important topic at present. The medical information is overwhelming that smoking is bad for a person’s health. Studies have shown that smokers are absent from work due to illness much more often than non-smokers and that health care costs for an organization are higher for smokers than nonsmokers. Recent studies lend more and more credibility to the position that even nonsmokers may be adversely affected by being in an area where people smoke. With all these studies and evidence at hand, the progressive organization must move towards severely restricting smoking.
