　　曲辕犁，是唐代汉族劳动人民发明的耕犁。其辕曲，因以名，区别于直辕犁。因其首先在苏州等地推广应用，又称为“江东犁”。曲辕犁比之前的犁的犁架更小，更轻，且便于调头和转弯，操作灵活，节省人力和牲畜。

　　A plough with incurved shafts was invented by Han people during the Tang Dynasty. It’s referred to as a crankshaft plough and it’s different from a plough that has a straight shaft. It was first popularized in Suzhou and it was known as a "jiangdong plough." Compared with the frame of the previous ploughs, the frame of a crankshaft plough is much smaller and lighter. It can easily make turns, making it more flexible to operate. This saves work time.
