1.省略
上个世纪中，亚洲的巨变和崛起，谱写了亚洲发展的辉煌篇章，也成为人类社会进步的显著标志。
The rise of Asia in the middle of the last century has written a glorious chapter for its owndevelopment, which is also a hallmark of human progress. (原文中“巨变和崛起”属同义重复，可以只译“崛起”)
我们将恪守入世承诺，有步骤地扩大开放领域，降低关税水平，取消非关税壁垒。
We will honor our WTO commitments, open more areas in a phased manner, lower tariffs andremove non-tariff barriers. (省略无实际意义的词)
2.增词
展望新世纪，曾经拥有光辉灿烂历史的亚洲，必将创造出更加绚丽多彩的文明。
Looking into the new century, we are hopeful that Asia, a continent of great history, will surelycreate more splendid civilizations. (无主句，增加主语和表语)

3.词性转换
