Back in 1996, a photographer happened to take a picture of a white bear in Kanas nature reserve in Xinjiang in northwest China. The bear remained a hermit/unseen/escaped radar/stayed off the radar in the ensuing years until 2003 when its traces were spotted yet again in the natural refuge.
