　　T1: If you can have a part-time job at the university, what position would you choose? A lab assistant, a ca mpus tour guide or a library assistant?

　　Sample:

　　As a student majored in science, I would like to take a part-time job as a lab assistant. There are several reasons for my choice. First, it is a rare opportunity to handle those exquisite equipment which is usually locked in the closet. All the science students are aware that the instrument for experiment is fetched by teacher assistant right before the science class and students have little chance to even touch the equipment. So as an assistant in the lad, I can have the priority to be familiar with the equipment, which is definitely a plus in my further study in this area. Moreover, I can find more chances to carry out my own experiment under the permission of the professor. As an assistant, I have more time staying with the professor and as long as the professor permits, I can occasionally carry out some experiments at will.

　　T2: Here are two jobs with equal amount of time and pay. One you need to work with other employees in a group and the other requires you to work individually. Which do you prefer?

　　I prefer to work with other employees in a group. I have two reasons for my choice. First, I could consult my colleagues when I meet difficulties. We may be familiar with different fields. So if I am confused, it is convenient to ask them for advice if it happens to be a field that they know about. Second, working in a group means that I can share the workload with other people. I would feel great pressure if I do all the work by myself. I can hardly ask for leaves even if I am ill. However, if I am working with other people, we could always come up with more solutions to emergencies.
