　　文章讲了美国很多的河流区域里都有很多的鳟鱼，进而讨论了不同环境下这种鱼能够共同生存的因素。一是因为水温，这种鱼适合生存在水温比较低的环境中;二是河流要有石头和沟壑，这样他们不费力就能吃到小虫子;三是最好河里不要有沙子或淤泥，因为这样的话产的卵会缺少空气，但这一点也不是绝对的，因为有的时候沙子和淤泥也可以帮助它们躲避捕食者。
