二、具体题目分析:
Describe a language you want to learn (not English)
You should say:
What it is
How you would learn it
Where you would learn it
And why you want to learn the language
Japanese is the language I want to learn in the future. I would like to learn it in two different ways which include taking online courses and watching videos. We all know that when you start to learn a new language, you have to study its grammar rules in order to get a better understanding of the sentences. In this case, taking courses seems to be an effective way. But it’s unlikely that I go to a language training school to study since I have to fling myself into my work day after day. So taking online courses at home would be the best choice for me. Besides that, I would also learn Japanese by watching some videos such as TV series and animations. I know, it is not the kind of learning method many people have in their mind. But I think it’s worth a try. Watching these videos could actually let me bury myself in Japanese pronunciation so that I could improve my listening skills. At the same time, I could learn idiomatic expressions in speaking as well.
The reason why I want to learn the language is that I find it easy to learn Japanese. In fact we can see lots of common features between Chinese and Japanese. The most prominent one is the Chinese character, which is an important part of Japanese. In Japan, we can see them everywhere in the streets. That’s why I could pick up Japanese easily. Another reason that drives me tostudy Japanese is that I want tointegrate into local life when I travel to Japan, which means that overcoming the language barrier will be a top priority for me. If I couldmaster Japanese very well, I could communicate with local people and understand their words. For example, when I go out for a dinner, I could fill myself up with the food I really like rather than the food with images in a menu because I could tell waiters about my personal preference. MeanwhileI could also know Japanese eating habitsin depth.
Overall, I would like to learn Japanese in the future. I think it would be an meaningful learning experience for me.
