Well, definitely it is because it is a valuable business-boosting opportunity. Positive feedback promotes engagement and improves the quality of work. It also prevents destructive information gags, increases accountability and boosts performance. Oh, and, of course, it encourages wanted behaviour, so, no doubt, it's required in the workplace.

I guess, yes as both of them generate a higher-performing work environment used expertly. Positive feedback used expertly. Positive feedback improves employee productivity and strengthens relationships between employees and their supervisors. What is more, it encourages wanted behaviour of the staff. As far as negative feedback is concerned, it inspires change and can be used as a means of improvement in terms of performance, which is also good for business. Though it may also have a negative impact, if used incorrectly. For example, it may weaken employee morale, decrease their self-esteem as a result, increase stress in the workplace which will cause a loss of productivity. So, negative feedback should be used skillfully or not use at all, I think.
