　　Things always change in an unexpected way. Please describe a thing you have recently done that, ten years ago, you never imagined you would do.

　　答题思路一：

　　这道题目是描述事物的话题，解决这类问题的思路一般是：“这件事情是什么?”、“对我而言有什么困难+我是如何解决的”、“解决完这件事情的意义”。

　　乘地铁去上班。十年前我的城市没有subway line，我去上班只能选择公交(说一下公交的不方便，比如suffer from traffic jam)，十年前我从没想到我们会有这么 advanced subway line system around the city(再说一下好处:commute in a more efficient way)

　　TIPS: 除了最好的交通工具，交通堵塞等话题可以套地铁的段子之外，我们常见的环境保护话题也可以哦!

　　Well, with the help of modern technology like cell phone, laptop and internet, I do lots of things that I would never do 10 years ago. For instance, I shop on line a lot. With just a click of the button, the next moment you know, your order is delivered right at your door. It is also easy to compare the prices offered by different on-line stores and get a bargain. However, 10 years ago, technology was not so advanced that there were not so many on-line stores where people could shop around and people depended on the traditional way of shopping.( 孟炎)

　　Ten years ago, I would never expect to spend a year abroad in the U.S. as an exchange student, living with the local family ,attending public school, and experiencing the life of being an American teenager. One of the most unexpected experiences was my independent graduation trip to California with my friends. We took a flight from Chicago to San Francisco, walked through the beaches with bare foot in ihe freezing water, enjoyed the sunshine and breeze, took photos with the Golden gate Bridge, drove to the University of California Berkeley and finally went north towards LA-spending 3 days in fancy Disneyland. I booked all the tickets and hotels, rented the cart and did researches on special scenery and food places that wc shouldn't miss along the road. When I was really young, I never expected myself to be so mature and responsible at the age of 17.

　　① I got a scholarship and an opportunity to go to the US as an exchange student on behalf of the university this year because I worked so hard that to achieve this dreamy target not only in academic performance but also in the area of social volunteer work or other competitions to let myself better;

　　② The reason why I never imagined I would do is due to the hard economic burden on my family although I had this dream for a long time.
