　　“三下乡”是各高校在在暑期开展的一项意在提高大学生综合素质的社会实践活动。三下乡的“三”指“科技、文化、卫生”，“乡”指中国农村地区。活动主要内容是青年人将城市的科技、文化和卫生知识带到社会发展相对落后的偏远地区，向当地人传授知识。该活动由中国共青团中央发起，1997年起在全国正式开展。
