　　Zheng Yuanjie, a modern writer and philanthropist, was born in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, on June 15th, 1955. He is known as "King of Fairy Tales", and is a 25-year world record holder for most monthly publications. He began his literary career in 1977. The characters he created include Pi Pilu, Lu Xixi, Schuck, Beta, and Roque, which have hundreds of millions of readers, attracting even adults among their readership.
