　　西楚(前206年-前202年)是中国历史上继秦朝之后出现的政权，为鲁公项羽所建(今江苏宿迁)，因建都于西楚重镇彭城，故国号“西楚”。公元前206年四月，西楚名义上统一了秦朝末年疆域的绝大部分地区。其后，在楚汉相争中，公元前202年项羽兵败自杀身亡后，西楚被刘邦所灭。刘邦统一全国，是汉朝的第一位皇帝。
