　　花朝戏源于广东省紫金县乡村的“神朝”祭祀仪式，用客家话演唱，流行于广东省东部客家地区。其鲜明特点是民间音乐语言和民间文学语言的有机结合;表演程式源于劳动生产，唱腔朴素健朗，通俗易唱;唱词和道白形象生动，表演载歌载舞，为群众所喜闻乐见。2006年，花朝戏被列入第一批国家级非物质文化遗产名录。

　　Huachao Opera, originating from the Shenchao sacrificial ceremony in the countryside of Zijin county in Guangdong Province, is performed in the Hakka language and popular in the Hakka region of east Guangdong Province. Its significant feature is the combination of folk music and folk literature. As the opera is largely inspired by everyday work, the singing is catchy and vivacious. Moreover, its vivid lyrics and speech and wonderful singing and dancing is deeply loved by the public. In 2006, Huachao Opera was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
