　　《辽史》为元代脱脱等人所撰的纪传体史书，是中国历代官修正史的“二十四史”之一。《辽史》由元至正三年(1343年)四月开始修撰，翌年三月成书。元朝修《辽史》共116卷，包括本纪30卷，志32卷，表8卷，列传45卷，以及国语解1卷。记载从辽太祖耶律阿保机，至辽天祚帝耶律延禧的218年辽朝历史(907年-1125年)，兼及耶律大石所建立之西辽历史(1124—1218年)。

　　History of the Liao Dynasty

　　The History of the Liao Dynasty is a biographic historical record compiled by Tuo Tuo, et.al. in the Yuan Dynasty and one of the "24 histories", the official historical records in the past dynasties. Compiled from April of the third year of Zhizheng of the Yuan Dynasty (1343), it was finished in March the next year. The History of the Liao Dynasty revised in the Yuan Dynasty consists of 116 volumes totally, including 30 volumes of biographic sketches of emperors, 32 volumes of records, 8 volumes of tables, 45 volumes of collected biographies and 1 volume of Guo Yu Jie. It records 218 years’ history of the Liao Dynasty from Ye Lyu Abaoji, Emperor Taizu of Liao to Ye Lyu Yanxi, Emperor Tianzuo (907-1125), and the history of the Western Liao Dynasty established by Ye Lyu Dashi (1124-1218).
