　　韩信(约公元前231年-前196年)，汉族，淮阴(原江苏省淮阴县，今淮安市淮阴区)人，西汉开国功臣，是中国历史上杰出的军事家，“兵家四圣之一”，同时也是中国军事思想“兵权谋家”代表人物，被后人奉为“兵仙”、“神帅”。他与萧何、张良并列为“汉初三杰”，与彭越、英布并称为“汉初三大名将”。韩信辅佐汉高祖刘邦围歼楚军逼死项羽，汉朝建立后被吕后处死灭门。

　　Han Xin (231 BC-196 BC), born in Huaiyin, Jiangsu, was an outstanding strategist who served Liu Bang (Emperor Gaozu of Han) during the Chu–Han Contention and contributed greatly to the founding of the Han dynasty. Han Xin was acclaimed one of the "Three Heroes of the early Han dynasty", along with Zhang Liang and Xiao He, and one of the "Three Generals of the early Han dynasty", along with Peng Yue and Ying Bu. He was an outstanding military strategist and representative of Chinese military thought who was named "the immortal soldier" and "the God of marshals". In 196 BC, Han Xin was accused of participating in a rebellion and lured into a trap and executed on Empress Lv Zhi's orders.
