　　港珠澳大桥是中国一座建设中的跨海大桥，连接香港大屿山、澳门半岛和广东省珠海市，全长为49.968公里。2009年12月15日，港珠澳大桥正式开工建设，预计2017年年底建成通车。港珠澳大桥的建成对香港、澳门、珠海三地经济社会一体化意义深远，是“一国两制”框架下粤港澳三地首次合作建设的大型跨海交通工程，是中国从桥梁大国走向桥梁强国的里程碑之作。

　　The HZMB is a cross-sea bridge under construction that will link Lantau Island of Hong Kong, the Macau Peninsula and Zhuhai City of Guangdong Province, with a total length of 49.968 km. On December 15, 2009, the bridge’s construction was officially commenced and it was expected to be open to traffic by the end of 2017. The HZMB is of far-reaching significance to economic and social integration of Hong Kong, Macau and Zhuhai and it is the first large-scale bridge project jointly undertaken by Hong Kong, Macau and Zhuhai under the "one country, two systems” policy framework. It is a milestone in China’s bridge history, and a great feat in bridge engineering.
