　　云南红茶，简称滇红，属红茶类，由汉族茶农创制于民国年间。茶区产地山峦起伏，平均海拔1000米以上，云雾缭绕，雨量充沛，年均气温18～22℃，土壤肥沃，多红黄土壤，腐殖质丰富。滇红茶产于云南澜沧江以西，怒江以东的高山峡谷区，包括凤庆、临沧、双江等地。

　　Yunnan Black Tea, or Dian Hong for short, falling within the category of black tea, traces its origin to ethnic Han tea farmers during the period of the Republic of China. The tea grows on the mist-shrouded undulating hills at an average altitude of more than 1,000 meters featuring abundant rainfall and fertile red-yellow soil rich in humus with an annual temperature ranging from 18℃ to 22℃. The Black Tea grows mainly in mountains and canyons to the west of Yunan Lancang River and east of Nujiang River, including Fengqing, Lincang, Shuangjiang, etc.
