　　The Northeastern China Plain (also known as the Songliao Plain) is located in northeastern China. With an area of 350,000 square kilometers, it includes the Sanjiang, Songnen, and Liaohe Plains and crosses the provinces of Heilongjiang, Jilin, and Liaoning. As China’s primary enter center of grain production, it features thick layers of fertile soil that result in a large area of farmland. This large area also contains high amounts of oil reserves.
