　　福建土楼，又称“客家土楼”，以土、木、石、竹为主要建筑材料，利用未经烧焙的并按一定比例的沙质黏土和黏质沙土拌合而成，用夹墙板夯筑而成的两层以上的房屋。福建土楼是福建民居中的瑰宝。2008年7以永定客家土楼为主体的福建土楼被正式列入《世界遗产名录》 。

　　Fujian Tulou, or Hakka Tulou, is a form of two or more level housing built using earth, wood, stone, and bamboo held together with unbaked sand clay and clay sand. Proportions vary, and construction incorporates a form of "sandwich plates". As a treasure of the residences in Fujian, Tulou, which is exemplified by the Tulou buildings at Yongding, were included in the World Heritage List in July of 2008.
