　　1.问候：Greeting

　　A: I hope you don’t mind my asking, but haven’t we met somewhere before?

　　希望你别在意，我问一下，我们是否在哪里见过?

　　B: Oh, we attended Crazy English Training Camp together three months ago.

　　噢，三个月前，我们一起参加了疯狂英语集训营。

　　2.祝贺：Congratulations

　　A: I heard you won the first place in the Speech Contest. Congratulations!

　　听说你在演讲比赛中获得了第一名，祝贺你!

　　B: Thank you, It was very unexpected.

　　谢谢你，我根本没想到。

　　3.感谢：Gratefulness

　　A: I really appreciate your help. I couldn’t have done it without you. You’re so kind.

　　非常感谢你的帮助，要不是有你，我肯定完不成任务。你真是太好了。

　　B: Don’t mention it. I’m glad to do it.

　　不用谢，我非常乐意。

　　4.鼓励：Encouragement

　　A: I think English grammar is the most difficult thing for me.

　　我觉得英语语法对我来说太难了。

　　B: Don’t let it get you down. You’ll make progress if you keep working on it.

　　不要灰心，只要你坚持学习，你一定会进步的。

　　5. 争吵：Quarreling

　　A: Shut up! That’s really too much! Who do you think you are?

　　住口!太过分了!你以为你自己是谁?

　　B: All right, I’m through with you.

　　好吧，我们分手吧。

　　A: I’ve had enough of you. I don’t want to see you any more.

　　我受够你了，我再也不想见到你了。

　　B: The feeling’s mutual. Get out of here and never come back!

　　我也是，滚出去，再也别回来!

　　6. 请求预约：Asking for an appointment

　　A: I wonder if you are free tomorrow afternoon. I’d like to have a talk with you.

　　我想知道你明天下午有没有空，我想和你谈谈。

　　B: Yes, certainly.

　　行，当然可以。

　　7. 满意：Satisfaction

　　A: Well Done! Stone. I’m really satisfied with your work.

　　干得好!石头。我对你的工作很满意。

　　B: Thank you, Mr. Gates. It’s very nice of you to say so.

　　谢谢你，盖茨先生。听你这么说我很高兴。

　　8.乐观：Optimistic

　　A: Are you feeling better now?

　　你现在感觉好些了吗?

　　B:Yes, much better. There is nothing to worry about. I’ll go to work tomorrow.

　　是的，好多了。没什么可担心的。我明天就去上班了。
