An edible Christmas card has been designed by aDevon company to try to be as seasonally "green" aspossible.
英国德文郡一家公司设计出一款可吃的圣诞贺卡，既适应消费旺季的需求，又尽可能做到了绿色环保。
The card, with a picture of Brussels sprouts on thefront, is made from potato starch paper and printedwith food colouring instead of ink.
卡的封面是抱子甘蓝的图片。卡是用土豆淀粉纸做的，并用食用色素替代油墨上色印刷。

It was created by a graphic design company based in Tiverton, Devon, and about 200 havebeen made.
该卡由德文郡蒂弗顿的一个书画设计公司制造，大约做了200张。
"It's not very tasty but next year we are thinking of doing flavoured ones," said Malcolm Buttelof Oxygen Creative.
Oxygen Creative公司的马尔科姆·巴特尔说：“它不是很好吃，但明年我们会考虑把它做得美味一些。”
Mr Buttel said he and his colleagues had bought a new printer and modified it to run on foodcolouring instead of ink.

"The cards have come out quite well. One of the recipients has eaten his card already," he said.
他说：“贺卡的反响非常好。有一个收卡人已经把他的卡吃掉了。”
Steve Lodge, managing director, said: "The card highlights the fact that there are manydifferent ways to make a difference to the environment."
公司负责人斯蒂夫·洛奇说：“这种贺卡让大家看到一个事实：要改善环境，可以有很多的方式。”
