China's first polar-observing satellite, BNU-1, has obtained 2,501 images covering the Arctic and Antarctic regions after orbiting Earth for a full year. Among all the images obtained by the satellite, 850 are of the Antarctic ice sheet and 1,025 picture the Arctic regions.
Also, a total of more than 240 high-quality remote sensing scenes, which picture the North and South Poles in partly cloudy weather with a resolution of 80 meters, were made by the satellite. Users have access to all the above data and images, and downloading is free .
中国首颗极地遥感小卫星“京师一号”在轨运行一周年后已获取影像2501幅，其中南极冰盖影像850幅，北极影像1025幅。
“京师一号”已生产高质量少云南北极遥感数据产品超过240景，产品分辨率为80米。以上数据和影像，用户均可免费下载。
