Laziness is a sin, and everyone knows that. We have probably all had lectures pointing out that laziness is immoral, that it is wasteful, and that lazy people will never achieve anything in life. So be careful when you are tempted to call somebody lazy. But laziness can be more harmful than that. It is often caused by more complicated reasons than simple wish to avoid work. Studies have proved that being “lazy” is good for the overworked students or executives. Some people who appear to be lazy may fail to trust their fellow workers. As a result, they are unable to join in any group task. Laziness can actually be helpful. Some other people spend a lot of time planning great deals or wonderful achievements. They are so busy planning that they are unable to deal with whatever “less” work is on hand.
