　　City planning is always a crucial issue for governmental authorities to take into consideration, since it closely intertwines with the future development and prosperity of a city. Some people propose that housing plays a more significant role in determining the living standards of every residents, whereas I firmly believe the afforested areas weigh much more heavily than building houses.

　　There is no doubt that the wider utilization of real estate can overcome abundant problems that are bothering contemporary people. On the one hand, more job vacancies and employment opportunities will be generated under the construction of houses. Not only workers in constructions sites will be in great demand, but also employees in relative industries such as architectural materials, engineering project supervision and even banking system will also be highly required. On the other hand, the government will also benefit greatly in terms of tax revenue. Each establishment of construction project shall undergo the supervision of governmental officials while part of their income will also be paid as taxes, thus better promoting the development of economy as well as engender more financial capacity for the government to implement other projects.

　　Considering from a more comprehensive aspect, however, the hazards of establishing more houses should not be overlooked, among which the damages to the environment is the most visible area. Planting more trees, can relieve the contemporary over-exploitation on natural resources while prevent other potential problems such as the water and soil erosion and desertification. What is more, the increase of afforested area in towns and cities can better diversify the monotonous urban layout, which even will serve as a stimulus for tourists to pay a visit. Citizens’ sense of happiness can also be promoted under the environmentally harmonious and healthily-beneficial living conditions.

　　In a nutshell, the plantation of more trees contributes to both health issues and city landscape in general.
