Aid Education in China
Each year(或In recent years/Recently), college students,encouraged(或motivated/inspired by our government) to aid studentsin poverty-stricken areas, volunteer themselves in poor villages (或voluntarily go to poor villages)for a yearand try to improve educationin poor areas (或with a view to improving education inpoor areas 或aiming at/ in the hope of improving education in poor areas).
Aid-education has been beneficial in two aspects. On the onehand(或For one thing), college volunteers have opened the eyes ofstudents in underdeveloped regions tothe outside world bybringingthem new knowledge and thoughts. As aresult, they are extremelywell-received by (或popular with)the children there. On the other hand, college students havereceived a rigorous trainingand built up theircharacters by adapting to the harsh living conditions.
From my perspective(或point of view),China’s educationaldevelopmentcan’t be isolated from each individual(或The inputs ofindividuals are indispensibleto the development of China’s educational level). College students, therefore, should take the lead(或play a leading role)in response to our government’s appeal foroffering aid to children in under-developed areas.
