　　I am interested in your Master’s degree in Architecture, and wish to enter this program in Fall of 2004. My academic background is as follows:

　　A citizen of the People’s Republic of China, I am 26 years old. In 1999, I graduated and earned a diploma from Hunan University with a major in Architecture. Hunan University is a key university in the Chinese educational system. There I have the chances to listen to many famous scientists’ report on the most advanced subjects. Most of the professors of my classes are authorities in this area. They taught me not only the knowledge but also the principle on how to be an excellent architect. Hunan University has a big library that houses millions of books, which gives me exhaustive new readings and information. I have made strong foundation on my major through the four-year study and I am the top student in my department If I am lucky enough to advance my future study in your esteemed university, I will go on with my favorite field of Architecture. As I studied more on Architecture, I frequently found my knowledge confined. I realized I should pursue graduate study to broaden my views, to stimulate more original ideas, and to establish my own systematic way in design. In graduate study, I would like to devote more thoughts to Urban Design, Culture and Technology, Design Theories, and Computational Design.
