　　三民主义由民族主义、民权主义和民生主义构成，是孙中山所倡导的民主革命纲领。通过三民主义达到“人能尽其才，地能尽其利，物能尽其用，货能畅其流”，实现国富民强、天下为公的大同社会，是中国国民党信奉的基本纲领。三民主义的发展过程分为两个阶段，即旧三民主义和新三民主义。它是孙中山民主思想的精髓和高度概括。

　　The "“Three Principles of the People", composed of the Principle of Nationalism, Principle of Democracy and Principle of People’s Livelihood, is the program for democratic revolution advocated by Sun Yat-sen. To "bring into full play their talent, maximize the benefits of land, make full use of materials and ensure easy access to the flow of goods", and achieve harmony, featuring prosperity of the country and the people and one community shared by all, is the basic program endorsed by China’s Kuomintang. The development of the "Three Principles of the People" is divided into two stages: the old Three Principles of the People and the new one. It is the essence and very summarization of Sun Yat-sen’s democratic ideology.
