　　1.adore vt.敬慕，钟爱，崇拜;很喜欢

　　【例】I can see how much you adore the animals.

　　我看得出你有多喜爱动物。

　　【用】adore通常表示崇拜或是痴迷般的喜爱，程度比like强烈。

　　2.submit v.服从，屈从;呈送，提交，提出

　　【记】词根记忆：sub(下级)+mit(送)--下级送到上级--呈送

　　【例】After many times of failure，Barrie submittedto fate.

　　多次失败后，巴里向命运屈服了。

　　We add and update new sites to our index each time we crawl the Web，and we ask you tosubmit your URL here.

　　每一次全面扫网时我们会增加并更新索引中的网站，同时我们要求你在这里提交自己的网址。

　　【用】submit作“服从，屈从”解时常与介词to构成搭配，表示“屈从于…”。

　　【派】submission(n，归顺，屈从;提交，呈送);submissive(adj.恭顺的.顺从的)

　　【辨】submit, yield两个词都有“屈服”的意思。submit强调放弃抵抗，臣服于某意志或势力;yield指在压力、武力或恳求下让步。
