The Chinese government is faced with many challenges, one of the most serious is the cultivated area loses. China became a net export country instead of a net import country.
The Chinese government has given the greatest priority to the agricultural reform and invested a large amount of money to raise the prices of wheat and rice, as well as improved irrigation infrastructure for fields. In recent years, the price of agricultural products has increased steadily and the Chinese government has taken the measure to raise the activity of farmers to plant grains.
